Condolence: Dear Dean, Susie and Cheri,
I fondly recall your Mom’s warmth and gracious hospitality growing up. A visitor to the Sciacca home could never knock at the door without being offered a cafe-style menu of refreshment options. A piece of cake, a cookie, some fruit, a variety of beverages... I usually asked for a glass of water because I didn’t want her to go to any trouble on my account. But even to teenager, it was obvious that your Mom’s greatest pleasure was making other people feel happy and loved. I will always remember her beautiful smile and generous heart. I am saddened to hear that God has called His angel Isabella home to Heaven. My condolences to you and your families. May you find consolation in the many wonderful memories you shared with your lovely Mom.

Condolence: My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Isabella. What a very special lady she was. It was an honor and privilege to have known her her through the Italian Center, and we shared many fun times over the last 15 years. I will miss you Isabella....rest in peace.

Condolence: Please accept my sincerest sympathy to your family on your Mom's passing. I knew Isabelle, as everyone called her, from my Aunt Virginia and Uncle Al DiStefano who loved to cook and entertain. That sounds so much like your Mom. They would entertain and cook with your Mom too. I am sure they are all sharing recipes now. God Bless their happy souls.

Condolence: While in Bible study this morning, one of the older men started the study with singing (as they typically do. He sang:

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see
When I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace
When He takes me by the hand
And leads me through the promised land
What a day, glorious day that will be.

I thought about your Mom and your family. I pray
that although you are saddened and grieve the loss
of your Mom, that later your hearts are filled with the joy that only comes from knowing our Savior Jesus Christ. May the image of Jesus leading your Mom by the hand past Aunt Erminia's basil patch bring a smile to your faces. Love you
