Condolence: Dear family of Joan,
After a few years went by, I caught up with Joan in Church this past Sept. We were excited to see each other & promised to stay in touch. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. She was one of the nicest people I’ve known. We worked well together at HPCSD & she’d always come to my aid when I messed up an excel spreadsheet, always kind & never judgemental. Joan was dedicated to her family & friends, her job& coworkers, her Church & students and her Teams. She will be missed by so many, truly an Angel.

I was shocked to read of Joan's passing. I worked with her in administration at the Hyde Park School District. We girls would go out for lunch and share our lives. She was soft spoken, interested in others, a tremendous Mets fan and a good friend. She will be greatly missed.
