Norman A. Baltuch, 74, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at home. He was born on August 9, 1943 in Plainfield, NJ, the son of Jacob & Sarah Bloom Baltuch. Norman graduated from S.U.N.Y. in Albany with a Master's Degree in social Studies.
He was a Correctional Counselor at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, NY and retired in 2003.
Norman was a member of the Knights of Pythias in Wappingers Falls, Poughkeepsie and was a member of the Romeo's Lunch Group. He was a Brooklyn Dodgers Fanatic, enjoyed traveling, a sports enthusiast, C-Span watcher and political junkie.
Survivors include his friend: Esther Reisman of Poughkeepsie.
Graveside Services will be at 11AM on Monday, September 4, 2017 in the Temple Beth-El Cemetery, Rt. 44, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Rabbi Daniel Victor will officiate. Memorial Donations may be made to Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City.
