Joyce "Ganny" Ceroni passed away with her family beside her on July 22, 2017 after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born on October 3, 1937 in the Bronx, NY to Samuel and Celia Michaels Weiner. She attended Poughkeepsie High School where she met her husband, Frank Ceroni, Jr. On June 28, 1955, graduation day, she gave birth to her only surviving child, Sue-Ann Harrison. Joyce then started her long career of over 60 years as a legal assistant until her confinement to a nursing home in 2015.

Surviving are her daughter, Sue-Ann and her husband Robert Harrison of Poughkeepsie; four grandchildren, Frank and his wife Kimberly Parker of Hopewell Junction; Adrianne and her husband Michael Dooley of Hyde Park; Stephanie Parker Lavalley of Middletown and Jennifer Parker of Poughkeepsie; seven great-grandchildren, Tristan and Payton LaValley, Benjamin and Alexander Dooley and triplets, Nicholas, Derek and Mariah Parker and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Ceroni, Jr., her daughter, Lynne Marie Ceroni, her two brothers, Robert Weiner and Robert Michaels and her great-grandson, James Anthony Dooley. She also leaves behind a loving sister-in-law and best friend, Jeanette Rohan.

Services will be held at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial is private.
