passed away July 4, 2017.
Loving wife of Roger Hendricks Simon.
Loving mother of Noah David Simon, Daniel Hendricks Simon (friend Gosia), Abigail Haley Simon.
Daughter of the late Jules Levine and Maita Sivitz Levine (Pittsburgh, Pa.)
Loving sister of Susan Sheldon (Chris) of L.A., David Levine (Lisa) of Richmond, Va., Janet Levine (Chuck Cudworth) of Providence, R.I. and Miriam Bisceglia (Rick) of Woodstock, N.Y.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Taken from us, cutting short a brilliant career, Sarah was the author of four novels (including WINGED VICTORY published July 2017), the produced playwright (including the critically acclaimed THE DRESSMAKER'S SECRET at 59E59 Theatre in NYC, Feb./Mar. 2017),poet, opera singer, gourmet chef and teacher.

The funeral is Friday, July 7, 2017, 12 noon at Temple Beth-El, 118 South Grand Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Burial will follow at Beth-El Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Sarah's memory to Temple Beth-El.
