Isabelle Diamond passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 15, 2016 , at the age of 88. Born in Yonkers, NY on September 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Isabella (Controne) Ferine. On October 13, 1949, she married Lawrence Diamond in Elkton, MD., he predeceased her on April 14, 2001. Isabelle was a homemaker and a local resident since 1963. She will always be remembered for her love of Bingo, going to Atlantic City with her husband, as well as her clean and immaculate home that she kept pristine. Isabelle is survived by her sons, Lawrence and his wife Andrea of Poughkeepsie, NY and Christopher and his wife Gina of Poughkeepsie, NY. Also surviving is her brother Michael Ferine of Rockland, NY, her sister Tecla Shaw of Fishkill, NY, her grandchildren Mark, Marissa, and Greg as well as a great grandchild, Jordan. Isabelle is predeceased by her daughter, Victoria McNair (1989), grandson "Mikey", sister-in-law Diana Ferine, and brother-in-law Richard Shaw. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, from 6:00 - 8:00PM at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A service will be offered at 7:30PM in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
