I started my Nursing career at St Francis Hospital where I had the good fortune of being befriended by Joan. She was a mentor and a friend. Joan was an excellent nurse and loved by all. Her presence on this earth will be missed.

Dear Joe and Tom, My heart aches for you both as I learn of Joan’s passing. I have had the pleasure of seeing Joan on a regular basis for her hair for many many years as she has been a loyal client to my day spa and salon. Joan is loved by everyone of us. She has brought so much joy to us all, her stories about her nursing days her sisters and her delightful chats about her beloved son were delightful. Such a dedicated mom to you Tom, she loved you more than life itself I’m sure. And Joe, how lucky were you both to find each other? She’s could say enough about how good you were to her. And your cooking!!! I and my girls will miss the kindness, the love and the fun she brought to us all with each visit. I will miss the wake as I’ll be out of town on a college tour.
