I knew Tracy through my role with a grassroots group (Poughkeepsie Plenty) that aims to make a difference on the issue of food insecurity. We could feel his proactive support, and the generosity of his friendship, which I think he extended far and wide. His passing has caused me (and others in our group) to reflect on how we choose to express our care and commitment, fully seeing the people around us (whether or not we are in full agreement with them) and prioritizing relationships in our quest to improve our city. My deepest condolences as you grieve this great loss.

We will not be able to attend Tracy's funeral service, but we will certainly be there in spirit. We, along with so many others, are heartbroken about Tracy's untimely death. Tracy was a dear and deeply loved and respected friend. Arnie often referred to Tracy as "the younger brother he never had." Our hearts and prayers are with you, Matt and Roxy.
