Obituary for Theresa L. Gieseler
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and sister in law, Theresa Lynn Gieseler left this world to join the angels and forever look down upon us.
Theresa (Terri) was born on July 2nd, 1965 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Robert and Diane Gieseler. She was a graduate of Arlington High School and attended Dutchess Community College. She was extremely athletic participating in high school track and basketball; as well as being selected as the first girl to be on the Lagrange little league All Star team.
She was an avid animal lover, had a fierce passion for cars, enjoyed fishing and had a "smokin' " green thumb amongst many other talents. She was kind, generous, had a great sense of humor and found great joy in helping and giving to others. She loved to give and laugh. She was a strong believer in God.
She is survived by her son Brian William and her daughter Laura Lee who were both the love of her lives. Also surviving are her parents, siblings; Robert, Deborah, Jeffrey and Kevin; Her son in law Michael and her grandchildren Mia Rose and Jayden; several nieces and nephews, a host of friends and her two cats Little one and Teeny Tiny.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 26th, 2021 from 8:15 to 9:15 am at William G. Miller funeral home, 371 Hooker Ave Poughkeepsie N.Y 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:45 am at St. Martin de Porres Church. 118 Cedar Valley Road Poughkeepsie N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, Terri would hope that you do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone less fortunate in her name. Her final words were always, "Happy, Happy, Happy," "Love, Love, Love," "God Bless" "Beep-Bop!"
