Obituary for George Angel Jr.
George Angel Jr., 89, of Pleasant Valley, NY died peacefully Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at home after a long illness, Non-Covid related.
He was born in Detroit, MI on March 24, 1931, the son of the late George and Mary Angel. He moved to Dutchess County where he met and married his wife, Aileen, who survives.
George was a wonderful and devoted friend to those that were lucky enough to know him¬¬ and will be missed by those who love him. He was truly a renaissance man – steelworker, software programmer, electrician, plumber, builder and private pilot.
George is survived by his step-daughter, Nicole Pantis of Kingston NY, and by his two sisters, Rosemary Angel and Patricia Olmsted of Stillwater, OK. He is also survived by his nephews and numerous great nephews and nieces. George was predeceased by his son, Kim (Skip) Angel.
Memorial donations may be made in George’s memory to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation, Poughkeepsie, NY.
