After a long full life, Teresa Marianna Curatolo passed on January 5, 2021 at 96 years young. Born in Millbrook, NY on June 13, 1924, Teresa graduated from Millbrook High School in 1942. She went on to work at IBM where she met her beloved husband of 69 years, the late Thomas J. Curatolo of Poughkeepsie, NY. They were married on October 1, 1950 and settled in Poughkeepsie where they raised their family.

Teresa was a dedicated wife and mother, and thoroughly enjoyed her home and time with family. She was an accomplished cook, baker, sewer and gardener, and loved sharing her talents and creations. After raising her children, she returned to work at IBM as a typist and publishing editorial assistant until her retirement in 1986. In retirement she pursued her passions and was always a constant and loving support to her family, most especially her grandchildren.

Teresa is survived by her two children, Thomas J Curatolo, Jr and Lynne Curatolo Bartolucci; daughter-in-law Peggy and son-in-law Ray; grandchildren Isabel, Raymond and Amanda; and her siblings, Alfred Carrazzone, Linda Christie, Louisa Vinciguerra, Ann Armet and Louis Carrazzone. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Linda Carrazzone; and siblings, Evelina, Fernando, Gennaro and Renato.

Due to the current health care crisis, a private burial will be held at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Millbrook, NY and a memorial service in celebration of Teresa’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
